The Gingerbread Land scene is full of Christmas Spirit: dancing, friends, and fun!

Review the instructions to learn how you can bring this scene to life.

As a gingerbread land character, you get to DANCE! Don’t be scared. You will be in a costume that will make any moves look great! You can do this.

In the videos, there are some pre-choreographed dances that you may want to use. However, the beauty of this scene is that YOU get to be involved in the choreography of the dance. We want you to help decide what this scene looks like. Here are some more ideas: Start in a line with your back facing the train. Jump around, see the train, act surprised like you didn’t know it was coming. Then run into place (in line with the other characters but in different order than you started in), and start dancing. When in doubt, kickline! Be big, be exciting, and have fun. Don’t hold back!

I know that you are trendy. So bring those trendy TikTok moves to this scene. We want to get the guests smiling and make the smiles stay! If you have ideas for the dance, contact Alivia (702) 672-1048.

when to arrive:

  • You should arrive at the ranch by 4:30pm

  • You must be in position at your scene by 5:05pm

GUIDELINES:

We want you to have fun. However, there are a few rules you need to remember at this scene:

1. The MOST IMPORTANT, #1 rule you need to know: DO NOT GO NEAR THE TRAIN. Do NOT climb on the train, do NOT hold onto the train, do NOT walk directly beside or behind the train. You are required to stay AT LEAST 20 FEET away from the train AT ALL TIMES.

If you violate any of the train rules, you will be sent home and will not be allowed back, period. The train is a ginormous and dangerous machine. Don't risk getting hurt, it's not worth it.

2. Be AT YOUR SCENE when you see a train turning the corner so you can be IN POSITION when the train arrives at the scene before yours.

3.  Do not do anything inappropriate or demeaning. Don't hit, punch, or fight. Follow the script in the video and the scene will have all the fun and action it needs!

4. Don't join in any other scenes. You might be tempted to jump in on another scene when the train is there. You might want to "just once" hide in the background  or pretend to blend in at another scene. My advice--Don't! Stick to your scene when the train is around. You're there for a reason, so have fun with your own job! If you jump into another scene while the train is there, you will mess up the experience for those on the train.

5. Don't move the objects in the scene. If you have an idea and want additional props, run it by Alivia (702)672-1048 first.

6. Don’t stop acting until the train is totally out of view–until you 100% know that the passengers can’t see you anymore. If they see you stop acting before you’re out of sight, it takes away the magic.
